Our Statement of Faith
These are truths from the Bible, which we believe and teach others about:
About God
We believe that there is one God who pre – existed the beginning. The creator of the heavens, earth and every other thing in it. – Gen 1:1; Psalms 33:3-9; John 1:1-3.
About Jesus Christ
We believe that He is the Son of God as revealed in the Bible; was born of Mary the virgin and that all things were created through Him. We also believe that He is co-equal with God therefore He is God revealed in the flesh. – John 1:1-14; Matthew 1:18-25, Isaiah 9:6.
About The Holy Spirit
We believe He is the Spirit of God who ushers in the presence of God and He is God in Himself. We also believe that He is the promise of the Father given to us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Genesis 1:1-2; I John 14:16-17; John 15:26.
About The Trinity
We believe in the oneness of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and they are co-equal to each other. Genesis 1:16-29; I John 5:7; Matthew 3:16-18.
Being Born-Again
We believe in the new birth of man, which brings about a newness of life where old things are past away and everything become new. John 3:1-21; I Peter 1:23.
About The Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit and it contains the infallible words of God. II Timothy 3:16-17.
About The Man
We believe that God created man in His image and after His likeness. We believe that man is a Spirit who has a soul and lives in a body and was created to have dominion over everything God created. Genesis 1:26-28; 2:7
Repentance Towards God Forgiveness of Sin
We believe that all have sinned, have been separated from God and can only be bought back by repentance through the death of Jesus Christ. We also believe that God is able and willing to forgive all sins. Isaiah 55:7; Romans 3:27; II Corinthians 7:10, I John 1:9
Righteousness
We believe that righteousness is a gift of God and it is God’s nature impacted into our spirit once we get born again. II Corinthians 5:21; Romans 3:24; 5:17.
Sanctification
We believe that we have been sanctified and made holy by the washing away of our sins by the blood of Jesus Christ. Also we believe that our soul (mind) is constantly being cleansed by the Word. Ephesians 5:26; I Corinthians 1:2; I Thessalonians 5:23; I Peter 1:2; 22-23.
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe that Christ will come back in a physical form and that all eyes will see Him. I Thessalonians 4:15-17; I Corinthians 15: 51:52; Matthew 24: 40-44.
Baptism of The Spirit
We believe in the baptism and the infilling of the Holy Spirit which comes after the new birth. We also believe in speaking of new tongues as well as other gifts of the Spirit. Joel 2:28; Mark 16:17; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 10:34-36; Acts 19:2-6.
Water Baptism
We believe in the immersion by water as performed by our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe it signifies our oneness with His death, burial, and resurrection. We believe it’s also an outward sign of true repentance unto the God. Mathew 3:13-17; Acts 2: 38; Acts 22:6; Romans 6:1; Colossians 2:11-13.
Baptism In The Name
We believe in the baptism in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4; Galatians 3:27.
Resurrection of The Dead
We believe in the baptism in the name of the Father, Son and the HWe believe that the dead in Christ will be raised back to life and those Christians that are living will be caught up with them with Christ in a new body. Philippians 1:21-23; I Corinthians 5:1-9.oly Spirit. Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4; Galatians 3:27.
